About Sneha Atelier
Sneha Anand, fashion designer in Pune
स्नेह means affection. Every piece at the atelier is drawn, embroidered and fitted with that in mind, for the person who will wear it.
The designer
Sneha Anand
Sneha designs occasionwear for women and for little girls, often for both at once, so a mother and daughter can arrive at the same celebration in pieces that speak to each other.
Her work moves between soft pastel embroidery on ivory net and bold festive colour, from moonlit lehengas to peacock-feather gowns. The method stays the same: careful drawing, honest fabrics and a lot of handwork.
The atelier is based in Pune, Maharashtra. Commissions are taken in small numbers so each one gets proper time.
What she makes

For her
Lehengas, gowns and festive sets for weddings, sangeet, receptions and festivals.

Little ones
Lehengas and party gowns sized and finished for children, comfortable enough to twirl in.

Mother and daughter
Coordinated pieces that share a palette or a motif without being identical.
How she works
Drawn, stitched, fitted
Each commission starts with a conversation about the occasion, then a sketch with fabric, thread and border swatches. Motifs are worked by hand in zari, sequins, pearls and stones, and every piece is finished after a trial fitting.
